Every Girl Needs Sparkly Boots-My Trip To Cavender's Western Store

You may have driven by and wondered what Cavender's is all about, or perhaps you are looking for a perfect pair of boots for that one outfit. After months of begging me, I finally broke down and agreed to buy my ten-year-old son a knife he had seen with his dad at Cavender's shortly after our family moved to Gwinnett.

As I stepped through the doorway, I instantly embraced the smooth smell of leather as a welcoming staff member (Jackie) greeted me from behind the register.

I was blown away by the size of the store and the amount of authentic western gear they carried: cowboy hats, riding tack, saddles, leather chaps—you name it, you are bound to find it as you wander through the aisles. Ariat, Rock 'n' Roll, Wranglers, and Wranglers Retro are just a few of the brands of jeans they carry, but what impressed me the most was the number of glorious boots in every size and color you could ever want.

Much to his dismay, the knife my son so desperately wanted was no longer an item they carried, but that didn't stop us from finding a whole list of new treasures for him to start dreaming about.

I guess his passion for cool finds must come from me because before I knew it, I too had a pile of jeans and boxes of boots piled up and ready to try on.

Deciding on jeans was an easy task, but narrowing down the boots with so many awesome ones to choose from is a whole other story. Pink ones, tall ones, short ones, square toes, pointy toes, and do not get me started on the sparkles.
